Is my brother too stupid to steal?

All my mother's jewelry is in a safe in the house. I am to get it appraised and possibly sell. (We can discuss.)

Do I next my own lawyer? Do I nerd to spend money on that and will that protect me? Is it human nature to steal?

There is about 5 million dollars including everything. Please remember she lived like a Queen for 22 years on my father's money and never earned a nickel. She lived ofThis money and gave me nothing.

Only an entitled idiot would stay alone in a hugh house for 22 years as a status symbol...

I have this sense ofsadness for my mother. The life long ride on my father's gravy train is finally over for her. She spent a life dressing up in pretty clothes and indulging herself in a purpose less life. She leaves nothing ofsignificance except me who she ignored.

We have set the funeral for Tuesday at Frank Campbell is she dies by Monday. Gary wants Tile to get a space at The Regency for Shiva. He thinks it's easier for his friends to come see him. I want to bury her and split for the Oscars. I don't know what to do about my friends...do I email my "tennis girls" and "Harpies" and 50 other "friends" to come to a funeral or Shiva. I am sort ofnot into a event. Everyone knows my relationship with her was not great. I keep saying my sadness is for her...

I called her club in Palm Beach. They do not allow memorial services in the club (too spooky) but will send over free food to her apartment for Shiva. I wanted to do something with a time limit. A little service. nosh and done. I will figure it out.

Do you think there is so little left and Gary is so honorable.....and he knows I will sic you on him if he tries anything that I do not need a lawyer? It's all spelled out in a will and it's just Gary and me. Your thoughts.

I would like to put the Alpine house on the market asap. Spring is coming. Not sure how we are going to unload the P13 apt...and what do we do with all her investments at Morgan Stanley and some other Sleiffel and Nichols firm. Help.
