big e-commerce business, but it's starting to look a little too dilettantish to me, so I've decided to go part-time in a consulting capacity. I don't know how much time you've spent in Hollywood but art and commerce seem to have been inverted completely: business is conducted in terms of how well a person can act the part and movies are made according to spreadsheets. Most people here think companies are built in montage sequences. I am susceptible to this nonsense because I don't understand numbers. I know about Nabokov's synesthesia. But to see everything in number is more like Stoppard's Arcadia.
