Fw: ESL course @ UVI
Dear Cecile,
Nice chatting with you today.
As promised, I've had a follow-up conversation with Dr. Donovan regarding the ESL course for this summer. I explained that your company would be willing to pay for the entire course so it could be offered for your students. Based on this new information, she is now moving forward with making the course available for the Summer II session which will run from June 20-July 26.
Attached is a breakdown of costs based on an even split between resident and non-resident students. Please let me know if you have any questions and if/how you would like to move forward.
My best,
Dionne V. Jackson

Good afternoon Dionne,
Thank you for this information. From what you sent me, it looks like the total cost for the course (for up to 10 students) is $8,868 which we will pay. We have two students to enroll. To whom should we send the applications? Once UVI receives the applications, the two students will need to get an I-20.
With warm regards,
Cecile

Hello Cecile,
I believe applications should go to Barbara Todman; she is well acquainted with the procedures for international students.
She can be reached as follows: phone: 340-693-1150 or email: btodman@live.uvi.edu.
Please let me know how things go.

Good afternoon Mrs. De Jongh,
Just wanted to let you know that we continue planning for the ESL class for next summer session. We plan to have it on the schedule for 5:30 — 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. Might this be a good time for the students? If not please let us know. Also, we would like to have them come to UVI sometime soon for pre-testing and orientation with the instructor.
Thanks.
Violeta
Hi Jeffrey,
Please let me know if the ladies still plan on taking the ESL class this summer at UVI so I can confirm with Ms. Donovan.
With warm regards,
Cecile
