I know you have done nothing wrong you do not need to tell me again. You must realize that your friend has been self-dealt a bad hand of cards. He is trying to play them as best as he can, its not easy, especially that family is usually a trump card. You are right however that it appears unfair that you are penalized by receiving any less than you bad worked and hoped for, especially given that you arc an innocent in this. In fact your argument that you should receive even more than you had planned given the fact that you now carry an extra burden is quite legitimate. So much depends on the ongoing relationship that you cherish so much but you don't yet know what restrictions he will be forced to act under. The good news is that Bill has the means to make it at least financially right, though no one will be able to control the pr. or the emotional impact. I have asked you to tell me what you think is fair, he will want to know as well. I agree that the 100 million of investment was planned and that your piece would be substantial as long as everything went well. (not assured) I do recall your piece of the projections of 30 to 40 million pre tax on investments, not including salary. There were so many renditions of the documents that I don't remember how it was left. If I can be of help, of course I am there, trust me, you are not imposing. Feel free to give Bill my private email of jeeproject@yahoo.com or my cell. I'm sure he is focusing on the tough job of keeping his family together, it is the right thing for the moment. Call me anytime.
