Re: Image Removal: Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation
Dear Mr. Blodget,
I hope this finds you well. I am writing from the Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation. We are a science foundation based out of Harvard University and New York City. The foundation was founded by Jeffrey Epstein. A summary can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation
Unfortunately, the first Google image to show up under Jeffrey Epstein's name is a mug shot posted by Business Insider. Removing old negative press is extremely difficult and undermines the foundation's work which funds critical science and medical research.
I cover the media for the foundation and we would be so grateful if Business Insider could remove or swap the mug shot image from their website. Attached is a jpg for your use. Or you may use any images from our website: http://www.jeffreyepstein.orq/
I would be glad to discuss the issue with you or your team and I know that Jeffrey would be available to speak with you as well.
You can reach me at this email or on my cell at: I will also try to reach your office tomorrow.
My best regards,

I've removed the image from the story. We have no control over what Google chooses to surface, but hopefully this will help.
Thanks,
Jessica
Dear Jessica,

I hope all is well.
Our technical team has informed us that Jeffrey's mug shot image has been removed from the article, but also needs to be removed from your media server. Google apparently links directly to the media server hosting the image.
We would be so grateful if you could remove the image from the media server as well. Attached an image that you may use instead, if you prefer.
I'm so sorry to trouble you with this. It means a great deal to the foundation!
Thank you for letting us know if this is possible. And thank you again for your kind help!
Hi [Redacted]. I put in the request to the tech team. Thanks, Jessica
This is great news - thanks.
I have a huge push going towards the positive Forbes post over the next 2-3 weeks (hundreds of sites linking to it / promoting it).
Also getting a spin off of Forbes done to submit to Google News to combat results for now. Aiming to get something out for that tomorrow.
Wiki submission is being handled by a 3rd party I've hired (they have an authority editor account) and should have that done by Moraues.
I expect the Business Insider image to be out of the results by Monday as well (so long as their tech team can get to it tomorrow).
