RE: Rachel Roth - University of Michigan (early action) application
I wish you had let me review before sending. as I had suggested in june, . the grammatical errors and spelling mistakes will make it at least harder for early admission. for ex . the short letter which accompanies her attachment says she is " exited ."

Good morning Jeffrey,
The attached pdf is a copy of my daughter Rachel's early action application that has been sent (and received) at the admissions office at the University Of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
As discussed yesterday as I left the aircraft, I provided Larry with a hard copy of the enclosed.
Rachel is a bright, intelligent young lady who is dying to go to this school and as her parent, I am hoping and very appreciative of your help.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me.

the purpose of the essay , is not a confessional. it is merely to look at critical presentation skills writing ability, orgazniation of thoughts. what special talents does she have? sports? .

I can't believe - I just noticed the “exited” as well.
This cover letter was sent separately after her application was Submitted, to highlight recent featured articles and to make her activity resume readily available for their review.

Jeffrey,
Rachel has played JV and Varsity tennis and over the past year and a half has focused and directed her talents to her non-profit organization - Inspire Bright. www.inspirebricht.orq, www.facebook.com/insuirebright.
Additionally, Rachel has a natural gift for communication and continues to hone her writing skills. She is a contributing writer with a monthly column for a Long Island magazine. Further, she currently has two part time jobs managing social media for two local businesses - expanding on the knowledge she gained through her intemship with a London based PR Firm this past summer.
Rachel's sports (JV / varsity tennis) / extracurricular (Inspire Blight)/ activity's (volunteer work) are defined in detail on the "Activity Resume' in the pdf I sent this morning (attached for your ease of reference).
Does this provide helpful insight?

Good evening Jeffrey,
I understand about the "excited" typo and the fact that she did not pick up on that.
This being said, I thought I would share with you information on the person who proof read Rachel's -common application" essays from first through final edit.
We engaged Adam Dressler from Private Prep; as he came highly recommended to us from our private College Advisor (great little cash business by the way).
Adam graduated cum laude from Harvard (A.B. in Classics), Boston University (M.A. in Poetry) and Columbia University (M.F.A. Creative Writing).
Thank you for everything you are doing to help me with my daughter - it is appreciated more than you know.
