you should not stop doing anything that you do
!
you left the company amid t cloud of chatter - some good and some bad.
people have heard conflicting stories and it is natural to have questions. that's all they are is questions.
find' way to address the questions people have without feeling hurt by them
even if the answers are rehearsed. you need to have them and try to say them with conviction
were you quit or fired?
why did you leave?
what will you do next?
how are you doing?
and then an honest response ("thank you" or "thanks for noticing" or whatever) when people tell you how much they appreciate you and your work. they mean it when they say it.
you have to get past this and develop some coping skills so that you can move on with your life.
