Valdson return flight to Paris from Brasil

Valdson would like to only change the return of his ticket when he is in Brasil as opposed to me booking it for the 6th March now. He says he only needs to return 3 days before you arrive so he would like to wait and see when you are definitely going to arrive. Is this ok??
