i sent a few emails to people i know who live in the area. one of them's wife is a nurse. will keep trying

he was a realty good surgery mentor to me but since then i am sure he's had a zillion mentees not sure i am super memorable but maybe he will reply

i used to know the head of surgery too but he is now head of surgery at albany as of 2 years ago. i sent him a note to see if he still had contacts there.
