Received and reviewed your sonography results. As a practicing obstetrician gynecologist here in the Philippines, i will still recommend a repeat transvaginal ultrasound by an obstetrician sonologist to confirm whatever was found in your ultrasound result (endometrial polyp). Once confirmed, because of your familial history of hypertension and diabetes you will be scheduled for cardiopulmonary evaluation prior to surgery. The surgery will be a choice between a hysteroscopic guided removal of polyp or a fractional curettage. Depending on the availability of the equipment and the skill of the surgeon. Although the surgical risk is low, you will be advised to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days maximum. The specimen will be sent for biopsy to confirm the initial assessment. Usually, around 1 week before the final result is released. The recovery time is always dependent on the physical strength of the patient, with your line of work, 1 month is suffice provided there was no surgical and anesthetic complication.. Hi Dave,

As we discuss i forwarded the sonography to my family Ob-Gyn regarding ongoing medical condition. As per the attached reply the operation will need to schedule in advance and will require 2 to 3 days that i spent in the hospital and additional 2 week recovery at home. Please advice if will be possible for me to travel from St. martin 20th of May and after spending few days in Florida schedule the medical procedure in Manila, Philippines on the 26th of May.

Arrangement could made to rejoin the yacht in France Tuesday the 14th of June prior to start the Johnson charter on Sunday the 19th of June.
