Re: taboos
Dear Jeffrey
I would not have said crispr etc is taboo - it's as mainstream as you can get, and scientific journals are full of papers about it.
One taboo topic I am interested in is the area of LENR - so called above unity devices that produce more energy than they should according to conventional physics.
There was a good summary a few months ago on the Edge website https://www.edge.org/response-detail/26753
A 1 year trial of the MW Rossi ECAT reactor in the US seems to have gone well, and the report is due out in a week or two. Rossi recently confirmed that the energy output has been greater than 1.5 times the energy put in: http://www.e-catworld.com/2016/04/04/e-cat-1mw-plant-test-results-watch-thread/
The Indian Journal Current Science has a recent special issue on LENR: Here is the link: http://www.currentscience.ac.in/php/feat.php?feature=Special%20Section:%20Low%20Energy%20Nuclear%20Reactions&fea=id=10094
I am in contact with a company in Britain working on a very promising device, currently being tested in some UK government laboratories.
Best
