Haven't indulged like that since our visit to Kelly's.

And lively discussion too. Sorry Valeria wasn't along to participate.

great seeing you, what I was less than perfectly articulate in trying to explain was the difference between wealth and money. you seemed to equate both with power. however if 10000 individuals with 1 million dollars each in cash. and bill gates. are the totality of our system. he only owns shares in a co. not money, there is 200 billion of total "WEALTH" , but only 100 billion of money ... there are also 10k individual votes. to his one . if he actually wants money to spend he must exchange some of his paper for the cash with one of the ten thousand. not increasing the amount of money, as i see it according to your definition , in my example bill owned fifty percent of all the wealth. but actually , in fact had no money, but had the power to make decisions against the interest of the 10 thousand. . something fishy. my entire trip today was worth it , to now learn the answer . " Im not sure it can every be right , but it can be better" . I intend to use that alot THANKS

Well, I'll probably be less articulate — out of my safety zone. I know that Bill has a great financial adviser, so his shares are redeemable for money any time he likes, because the companies in which he has the shares are trusted to be making money by selling goods and services, outside of the closed system of this model. Doesn't that handle the fish?

At least I think “the answer” is on target.

And the deli is great.

The dollars would have to come from the masses reducing their collective powers. Good pickles

But they get the goods, which have use value for them, and in many cases can use them to increase their own wealth and power and even the health of the society.

There's a great line from the Brazilian novelist Machado de Assis: "to the victor the potatoes." Maybe it should be pickles.
