Follow-up?

Hi Jeffrey,

David just spent a week here in Hong Kong. He and Mark Tilden (Robo Sapien inventor and Fields Medalist -- look up his videos on YouTube) and I had a lot of deep and awesome conversations about Al and robotics.... I am increasingly confident we are going to do some amazing work together!

I am wondering if you'd like to follow up on any of the materials David or I sent you?

For instance you were curious about toddler IQ testing and I sent a bunch of information on that, but perhaps you were busy with other stuff and didn't get to looking at it? I could re-send it if it's lost in your email archives ;)

If our work doesn't move you to a large donation at this point, I wonder if you'd be willing to consider funding us to hire a SINGLE senior-level Al employee to serve as "lead engineer" on our AI/robotics team here in Hong Kong. The team is good, but our gov't grant funding only allows hiring of junior people, and we really need an experienced team lead who understands Al and is a solid programmer and has a bit of leadership experience.... This could really dramatically increase the effectiveness with which we can work toward our goals....

I think we could hire such a person for about US$100K/year including overheads.... This would let us move much better toward a robot that can pass toddler IQ tests, and ultimately toward Al that can serve as an adequate brain for all of David and Mark's fantastic robots....
