It was good to catch up on the phone recently. I was able to touch base with Bill Gates today regarding our partnership with IPI and he agreed, in principle, to extend our collaboration beyond the end of this year. I will ask Max to work with you and Michael on the details. I look forward to seeing you again in person during the UN General Assembly events in New York next month.

I hope this email finds you well and you are enjoying the summer. We have 38 Degrees Celsius in Vienna — a record, but I am not complaining.
As discussed please find attached proposal for a potential collaboration between the BMGF and IPI based on our conversation about what would be useful for the BMGF and what IPI can offer in the areas of Polio Eradication and Health and Security.
