can some one please explain what is taking place on the island? moreover, can someone explain why activities involving concrete trucks are taken place when the activities listed in the permit that was just collected monday don't authorize the pouring of any concrete?
regards,
JP

Good afternoon JP. I just received your email as I am attending a class at Northwestern. I will look into this and get back to you. I'll need to talk with Mr. Epstein but that may take me some time as he is traveling as well.

good afternoon erika,
DPNR conducted a site visit to the GS1 island this morning to investigate the location where the concrete trucks were observed. attached please find pictures of a newly-poured concrete helipad. there was also the site preparation for the foundation to be poured for a new steel storage building. there were a number of other violations observed, but those will be included in the NOV.
we issued a verbal cease and desist to all the workers that were present on the island. if we can get to the office in AYH before the end of business hours we will serve the written one; however, i will email it to you both when it is signed.
