RE: EPSTEIN, Jeffrey, reg. no. 76318-054
Hi [ ]
Thank you for letting me know and for your response.
I was informed by Jonathan Savella that he had submitted my completed application to the legal department for the inmate Jeffrey Epstein yesterday morning. Does this reflect any of your records? If not, I will be happy to resubmit. If so, can I send the application to you directly via email? Please let me know.
Thanks again,
Samanta

Hi Samanta,
Attached staffing at p. 26, please find the application and NCIC check form. Paralegals must submit new applications yearly to retain legal visiting privileges. Please be advised, our records reflected that your last application expired in September 2018. Please complete the attached and return them for processing at your earliest convenience.
Thank you,

Hello ████,
I left you a voicemail earlier today regarding my paralegal application for Jeffrey Epstein, Reg. #76318- 054. I was told today by the lobby guards that I had to re-submit my application and to ask the legal department directly on the reasoning. I wanted to reach out to ask what in my application needed to be changed or fixed so that I do not repeat the mistake.

Good morning Mr. Savella,
With apologies for the delay, medical staff can accept his CPAP machine. Would you or one of your associates be able to bring it in next week? It must be provided to medical staff rather than directly to your client.
Thank you,

Mr.
Is Mr. Epstein approved to receive a CPAP machine? If so, should we send it directly to him through the inmate mail system? Please confirm.
Thank you.

I visited inmate Epstein in SHU on Thursday. He was getting ready to meet with his attorneys for the day so I had gone to visit him right after the SHU meeting. He had a cell mate at the time with whom I saw him interact with. He did not report any mental health concerns and he denied any suicidal thoughts or intention. He was asking this writer to go to general population and was making requests for various needs he had at the time. He wanted social calls without them being on a speaker phone. He wanted a book he had left in the suicide watch area. His mood was not depressed or anxious. There were no signs of distress. He had planned on meeting with his attorneys to work on his legal situation.

I'm emailing to let you know that we in our Office are initiating a litigation hold relating to Jeffrey Epstein's death, likely extending to records pertaining to our investigation and prosecution of him. Our hold will cover only our Office and its employees. You may well have done this already, but if you haven't, I encourage you to get a hold instituted ASAP over at MCC and BOP.
My understanding is that representatives of Mr. Epstein and/or his family already sent us a request that we preserve records, although I haven't seen it.
Thanks, and let me know if you'd like to discuss.

Good morning Mike,
My apologies, but I have been away from my desk in meetings the past three days. I received your voicemails regarding the status of Mr. Epstein's personal effects. Presently, while the external investigation continues, any personal property attributable to Mr. Epstein is being held as evidence. Once the outside investigators release the property, we hope to be able to return it to his family as expeditiously as possible.
If you have any further questions, please email me and we can try to arrange a mutually convenient time to chat further.
Thank you,
