RE: Review/Redaction of JE evidence

Good morning!

Reaching out to see if DOJ/the Director's office has determined DCAP acceptable interim solution to review the unredacted 50D evidence items. I have generated a forensic copy of 16136 and 1B146 on a hard drive for this tasking as it is the only items of the four 1 Bs I am capable of producing on hard drive in this short timeframe.

Please let me know if I should deliver this hard drive to CID or if DCAP is acceptable.

Following up on our conversation, I understand DOJ has agreed that DCAP is an acceptable interim solution. Leaning forward to the "hard drive" request, we will make sure that CID receives the hard drive copy of 1B136 and 1B146 that has already been generated. We will also plan on making hard drive copies of the other data when its fully restored an available.

I'm told you are the point of contact for the 90A-NY-3151227 case in NY. WFO CART received LTO tapes (backup tapes-CART derivative evidence) and ONTU is working on restoring them now. Below is the information I have about these:

1646 - 1.5TB; According to CART DB, this is a consent to search phone 1653- 2X6.25TB; according to papework this is MCC-NY video hard drive

Could you please provide me with an appropriate POC/list of people you want added to the case for redactions and review so we can make sure everyone has access when they need it?

It might be a case for at least some of them where they logged into the review desktop before you added them to the case this morraand so need to shutdown the VM and reopen it to set user permissions. For Miand and they were added a couple days ago, so not sure why they cant access, everything is telling me that they should be able to. Finally, see my note about . I sent the email to his @fbi.gov account, so he just needs to follow the instructions to setup an account. I can sent another email to him if you would like as a check up since I haven't seen his access request.
