RE: Epstein referral
Hi I am the VS in New York that is handling the Epstein case. I am receiving texts right now from the victim that you are sending her websites that she can find a therapist herself? II am a little confused as our our job is to assist them in locating an appropriate one. She said none of these on this site are even close to her.
Are you not familiar with trauma therapists in your AOR? I can just assist her if that is easier because she is in crisis and needs immediate assistance.
Please let me know how to proceed?
Thanks
Hi MIE,
She is not in my AOR but I did speak with her. She asked that I text her information so I referred her to www.counselingcalifornia.com so she can find a therapist in her area that takes payments from the victims compensation program. She had mentioned she has insurance so I let her she can also check with her insurance company to find a therapist that takes her insurance. I didn't hear back from her.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist.
Thank you,
Victim Specialist

Apologizes for confusion regarding an email and mentions a misunderstanding about AOR (Area of Responsibility).
Asks if something is sorted out.
States that no one in LA covers the area and implies they will handle it.
"I'll take care of it."
Asks if the recipient will be at SVTC tomorrow for a CT case.
I haven't got one yet I just know it's at 10am.
I'm out today but will be back tomorrow.
