Hi Jeffrey - Hope you had a great Chanukah and are enjoying the
holiday season...ddealing w/ snow on ice hear in Mass...
Got a voicemail
at my MGH office from a Phil Lice, who identified himself as a reporter doing a
profile on you for NY Magazine...would you like me to call him
back?
Looking forward to seeing you soon in Manhattan - am spending some
time w/ mom in the Bx before the start of the new
year.
Best,
Mark

Thanks, Lesley - cellphone number below -I'll keep an ear (or
two) out
for a call...I hope I have the opportunity to meet you in person
this
next time around...
Yes, good ole Santa! - Cady (now 11) and I
were just talking about Santa
when we saw one at the mall this weekend - she
said she figured the
Easter Bunny wasn't real when she was about 6 and then,
to her immediate
chagrin, she realized Santa was a myth...still loves him
though!
(probably classical conditioning related, again, to the AG Store
is
probably at play subliminally!)
Holiday
Cheers!

RE: Visit etc
What a nice trip you have planned with your family! I
do hope y'all
have a tremendous time! I will let Jeffrey know you will
be at the
Harvard club from (we'll say) Dec. 22-Jan 2/3. Hopefully he
will be
around and can catch up with you...and I'll mention New Year's
night
too..but my guess is you are correct on where he will
be!
(Nice to know the American Girl Store is good for something
besides just
breaking the bank! (I hear it's quite $$$$!) I'm
sure Cady can spend
hours in there!....and yes, Christmas is going to
just keep getting
better and better...already he really thinks Santa can see
him...not a
lot of pouting going on around our house!)

Thanks so so much for everything, Lesley...
Here are
the dates:
Will be coming down after my last patient day before the New Year
- Fri
Dec 21st Cognitive Neurology clinic ends at 6P, then Candy, Cady and
I
hop in the car, head to the Harvard Club, and stay in NYC until 1/2
or
1/3.
Would you like to choose a day and time in that time window
today?
(So if history repeats itself I'll be able work out my American
Girl
Store schedule w/ Cady well in advance! I must admit she's learned
a
fair amount of American History via their characters from c. 1775,
1865,
1929, 1944.)
And please extend an open invitation to
Jeffrey-plus-guest to join Candy
and me for a drink-and-a-dance in Harvard
Hall on New Year's Eve anytime
from 9P on...(though I can't imagine him
choosing Manhattan over a
private island in St Thomas in
January!)
Looking forward to your reply, and hope you're enjoying the
Season all
the more thanks to your new set of toddler eyes!
Holiday
Cheers,
Mark

Regarding meeting up prior to xmas or prior

would really like to...he said 'possibly', give us a
shout out as the
date approaches.

Hi, Lesley!
Any dates set yet so I can start planning
trips/materials for my 2008
tutorial w/ JE in Florida?
I checked via
Google to see if Landon Thomas' article is out yet - I
hadn't realized he was
the writer of the "International Moneyman of
Mystery" piece in New York mag -
must have come out around the time
Austin Powers was big, right? I DID
find, however, an article that had
a hugely complimentary bit about one
