Well Hello Mr. JE!

Are you back? Can't wait to finally see you. Not going to the island left
me in the city all weekend and it was terribly boring so I went into work
most of it. But got alot done!

I discovered something yesterday. I girl that I have become friends with
through Josh is batteling the same as I. I am very surprised, I never would
have suspected. She is where I was just a month or two ago, a very tough
lonely spot. She is now living under the care of her Mom and is enrolled in
a treatment program at Mercy hospital, the exact programs in which I refuse
to be a part of! Her Mom was telling Josh how withdrawn she has become and
everything he spoke of I see in myself thru and thru. It has made me so sad.
But what's sad is that this is the only person that I personally know
going through the same. I was wondering if I could take Friday and go to
her. I've never been in the company of another especially someone that I
personally know. I feel it would be beneficial for both of us to share with
someone who understands the ups and downs. I also am a bit curious what a
outside treatment facility is all about. I would be able to go on Friday
with/without her. I really want to do this for myself. I feel I need to
put myself into this situation for the first time.

I will speak with Ghislaine regarding taking Friday off but I wanted to
speak with you of course. I'd like your ok to go but also your thoughts
about seeing my friend and attending the facility to see what really goes on
in one. Please let me know so I can look into flights before they get too
expensive.
