2.0 Pricing
Detail:
2.1 Strip and paint fuselage and vertical stabilizer.
2.2 Scuff sand and paint wings and horizontal stabilizer
from spar to spar.
2.3 Sand and paint door surrounds.
2.4 Sand and paint wheel wells.
2.5 Any composite repairs will be accomplished on a time and
material basis.
2.6 Aircraft
stripping is considered to be a single application of stripper to remove paint.
Additional coats of stripper as required will be billed accordingly.
2.7 The
final appearance of completed exterior decorative paint surfaces shall meet the
following requirements when examined at 90- degrees from the painted surface
and from the distance of 10 feet or more.

Exterior daylight examinations are limited to color match, skin
quality polishing, and other workmanship defects not detected with artificial
light sources.
·
The film shall be uniform in appearance and relatively free from
sags, lint dirt, craters, orange peel, over spray, hazing and pigment float. In
the case of rework within a color, it is acceptable to have a slight color
variation if the rework does not detract from the overall appearance.
·
High solids nonmetallic “metallics” have an increased tendency to
orange peel. This increased orange peel is inherent to the materials and shall
not be a cause for rejection.
·
All surface defects will be addressed and corrected prior to
aircraft departure.
2.8 TIMCO can provide certified, unbranded spot market Jet A
fuel, upon request at TIMCO’s price plus 10% handling and storage fee, plus an
upload fee of $.30 per gallon. If upload or download is required for
performance of services, then customer shall pay fee of $.30 per gallon, but
not the handling and storage, for the fuel uploaded and /or downloaded.
