not ask jojo to talk to the owner,, if not you talk to
the sellers agent

6. The Broker then calls back again and says

"there is almost a contract
from another offeror, what do we want to offer? I
get on the phone again and
ask what is required to get the deal done. The
Broker does not answer. He
simply says that if you think another $10K is
enough it is not. I ask did
you ask how much is enough? The Broker again tells
me that he JoJo and Lynn
felt that we should have offered $392 to begin
with. I ask him what the other
side said is needed. He said he did not get a
number. I then tell the
broker to say to the seller's agent, what if I get
my buyer to offer $380K is that
enough, and if no, I tell the broker to say would
$385K be enough; if no,
then say would $390K be enough, if no then say
would $392K be enough. Very
specific because Rich (and I) did not believe that
the broker even asked for any
final number from the seller's agent.

7. Today we speak to the Broker again and ask

what happened. The broker
says, "I believe there is now a contract, what do we
want to offer, so that
the seller has our offer in case the contract does
not work out?" I ask what
did he find out from the broker. He does not
answer, but says that this is a
hot property and again he says the he and lynn and
JoJo wanted to offer
$392K. Exasperated, I ask the Broker what did the
other side say about an
acceptable number. Broker then says, the other
side will not tell me a number.
Rich (and I) believe that for some reason the
Broker is simply not asking the
question.

I ask the Broker if I can speak to the Seller's
agent directly, and to give
me the number and I am waiting to hear back from the
Broker.

I know it is ridiculous, but if I cannot speak to
seller's agent or If I
cannot find out a price, do you want me to offer
above asking price of $390K?

Please advise.
