Do you want me to have ETC order the phone switch for the other Florida office? The estimate for a 15 phone system is around 17k… however, if it is an office system, and you figure voicemail for each phone the cost could easily double. Just let me know and I’ll take care of it how you like.
Do you know the timeframe yet for the weekend you’d like us down there? I’d like to see our contractors on site and near completion with the phone system before that happens. Also, a new office setup will involve networking hardware and possibly cabling too. We have a Sprint T1 in hand right now. I would need advanced notice to deploy that too.
Regarding the Citrix server upgrade and engaging consultants to engineer this. The total cost for two new servers, all software plus 250 hrs of installation time is at 109,000 (not to exceed) Between Bill and working remote I don’t think we would need them on site till the tale end of the upgrade. At that point reasonable travel/room/board would be added to the cost.
Please approve ordering:
New office phone switch 17k
Voicemail for office phone system additional 17k
Citrix upgrade 109k
I will need advanced notice to:
Schedule office phone installation
Schedule office T1
Purchase networking hardware
Have ETC review space to assess existing cabling and or install additional cabling
Schedule weekend for Bill and I to fly to Florida
I will continue to work with Bill evenings and weekends to assist with his transition and partner in making your IT the best that it can be.
Hope you are well,
Dave
Yes the house is complete.
Our version of citrix is not supported anymore and outdated
Our server is beyond maxed out and is crippled performance wise, also not secure
The guys we engaged will upgrade it, configure it properly, test it, roll it out, secure it and educate Bill on service and maintenance, and provide new hardwr and softwr
Hard for me to write short paragraph on this :)
