Jeffrey dear!

I hope this note finds you well as always.

 

A member in my extended family passed away and it has huge effect on my immediate family. Not my first time to lose a family member, but death humbles you like nothing else.

 

The Croatian boy is the one standing by me as he has throughout the car accident, lung infection, blow to lungs, and now death. He's adament about not wanting to get back together and I need to come to terms with that he feels great affection for me, but is not in love.

 

After 16 months in Dubai, affection beats love in my book.
