THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA / TWO WEEKS NOTICE
After 18 months in London I finally landed a permanent job! I was made
permanent after 5 weeks temping at the brokerage firm.

You know the saying: 'Be careful what you wish for.' I got what I wished
for: When my boss said he was immediately going to request a company
Blackberry for me since the night before he had been unable to get in touch
with me, I saw my life flash before my eyes. Anne Hathaway's character in
The Devil Wears Prada and Sandra Bullock's in Two Weeks Notice came to mind.

However, I've finally found the right place for me to work: A place where
people are extremely extroverted and sociable. Here I'm just another nut in
a bag of mixed nuts. I will never be the loudest or the craziest! Please

WHAT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS (excerpts from articles)

BETTER THAN MATCH.COM?
I thought being on a trading floor with +630 men and less than 20 women
would be awesome from a dating standpoint, but no... Brokers are one step
above gorillas...
