thanks.... unfortunately it appears that I will have
to be in the middle east,. during your conference...
so I will both be unable to attend , and of course not
be able to take anyone on the plane... second... I
am unclear about your proposal... are you committing
to have a finished mock up of kits,,,luxury and
mass,by the end of februrary.. or exactly what is it
that you are in fact comitting to////

several day meeting with my associate Nigel Holmes
here during the very
first few days of January and plan at that time to
develop a two-stage
series of ideas and comps. The first perhaps
completed just prior to my
conference to be able to review with you there. And
a more final
presentation of the direction and comps in the 3rd
week of February in New
York.
4. As you know, I have difficulty just to work
for hire without seeing
some rainbow at the end of the tunnel or percentage
of a company that I
would like to help construct and develop as I have
in the past. The initial
cost for my time and my team's time, Nigel and the
young lady who helped me
with the Understanding Healthcare book, will be
$125,000 through the end of
February.

Additional items:
Attached is the initial list of names for your 727
to the conference.
Registration begins at 10 AM on 1 February. The
first session is at 1:30 PM
and it really opens large with Nicholas Negroponte
showing his $100 computer
and hopefully Rupert Murdoch presenting, and it goes
on from there (see
attached schedule). If you could give me some idea
of the times that you
would leave and then arrive at Van Nuys, I would
like to start sending that
schedule out to the designated hitters on your
plane.

GM mentioned the possible availability of TamiFlu
when she was here and I
sure would like to have a small hoard of it to
assuage my terror.

You had mentioned and I mentioned to you again in
your office, your
friendship with David Copperfield and the
possibility that you might invite
him to eg. Should you have people like Copperfield
and others who you would
like to have come, please just tell me their names
and I would be happy to
make arrangements to comp some of your friends.

You had mentioned a meeting down in the Virgin
Islands, possibly at Little
Jeff Island or in St. Thomas on the 15 March, and I
would be quite
interested.
