Hello. Several times over the past few years I have thought about writing you. You were a great inspiration to me while David and I were at Zorro Ranch. We are doing great. We are still at Terry Ranch in East Texas. Once when you and I were riding you had asked me if I thought I could run a multi-million dollar operation. That has stuck with me. I have never forgotten that you asked me that question. Through different conversations I had with you, you inspired me to think big. I remember another time when you told me that you wanted Zorro to be a stepping stone with you to greater things if that is what I wanted. Well, I have applied for a non profit organization called Feedlot Ministries. The mission statement is to minister God's Word while providing food to low income families in rural Texas. To raise money I have decided to produce western women's conferences. July 11th & 12th of 2008 will be the first one in McKinney, Texas (just outside of Dallas). The conference is going to be called Cowgirls of Faith. I have Susie Luchsinger signed to sing (Susie is Reba McIntire's sister). I also have two speakers, including myself as one. It is a 2 day event that will be held in an indoor arena. Part of the entertainment is going to be a horseback competition similar to the Extreme Cowboy Race on RFD t.v., except it will be women only and will be in an arena. Susie is also going to film part of it for her RFD t.v. program. I would like to get one other big name speaker and this morning I thought of Naomi Judd. I remember once she was at the ranch and I thought you might know how I could contact her.
Everyone I have spoken with is behind this 100% and believes this will eventually go national. Also if you have any advice or contacts for sponsorships or any other ideas for a western female, Christian speaker, I am all ears.
Tell everyone I said hello. I think about my days at Zorro and sometimes get a little homesick. It was a great part of my life. Thank you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
