Sea trial of 2003 38 foot Custom Proctor Boat
note the photo below,,,the boat carriers 237 gallons of fuel, their
was 180 gallons on board.
"notice the pontoons do NOT touch the water, compared
to NANA".
This one owner boat was custom built for Kevin Jaffe of Palm Beach,
he owns a Challenger 604 and a large yacht with Helicopter he keeps
abroad.
Fuel tanks have increased capacity to level the boat, the
center cabin and wrap around window was custom
built, compared to standard Protector production boats.
-Top speed 41 kts (47 MPH)
-Tested in 3 to 5 foot wind chop seas at 35 kts, the boat felt
like it came out of water, but props never cavitated. Center of Gravity is
perfect in this boat.
-cockpit was warm (NO air conditioning). only fans.
-2003 build date, show room new,,,perfect condition.
- 167 hours total time on engines only
- twin Yamaha 225 (4 stroke).
-Radar
-steering was hard to turn boat compared to Verado power
steering.
-(If we installed more horse power to obtain greater speed, we
should make sure weight is comparable to currently installed
engines).
Mr. Jaffe is accepting offers, current market value of boat.
His boat captain, Adam said an offer in the high 200's would be
accepted,,,for starters.
