Instead of the 150 to 250 easy jokes I could insert here, I'll comment that it's sad that the area of female sexual and uro-genital physiology has been so poorly studied and starved for funding when it's so obviously important in ob-gyn, evolutionary behavioral biology, surgical planning (so as to reduce surgical destruction of nerves and sensation), understanding what's long been apparent about the variability of sensation and "sexual operating systems" among women, etc. Obviously the New Scientist article extrapolates in an invalid way -- it goes way beyond a correlation (which explains 78% of variance in a tiny sample) to talk about inability to experience a certain sort of climax.
