please explain to eric, that the delay in fixing the interior, is costing me a great deal of time and dimunition in value of selling the plane. HE said he would stand behind the work and I expect him to do, so, he should check with his attnys if need be regarding responsibility. . It can't be mine. It is not my dissatisfaction.. it is obvious. to anyone. who sees it... WE await his proposal..

Subject: G2 leather update:

Jeffrey, see Eric's comments below,
I plan on taking the Gulfstream to Paint shop Friday after seats are removed.
Paint shop is located in London, Ontario Canada, 1 hour north west of NYC.
Darren, I thought you should be aware of current updates with Eric Roth at IJI on leather for Gulfstream.

Dear Larry,

Let me start off by saying that International Jet Interiors appreciated the relationship with JE & company.

We refurbished the GIIb using leather that JE had specified – not IJI.  The seating upholstery came out great and the problem that I agree exists is the “puckering” of the leather while in St. Thomas .

It is my strong opinion that this problem is somehow due to the high humidity level interacting with the leather causing this adverse effect.

The seats looked great when we viewed them (post - St. Thomas ) at Teterboro , NJ .

Further, the one single seat that has not left our building also looks great – no puckering – even after we put sandbags on the seats for over three hours to create the weight of a passenger.

We have contacted and sent JE’s photo’s to Edeleman and have had numerous discussions with Kasthy – our Edelman representative.  She assured me that the owners of the company as well as may others who could be instrumental in identifying the cause of the problem have all viewed JE’s photo’s.

Edeleman has about 100 sq. ft of this specific dye lot in stock and has sent it to the lab for testing.

At this point Edelman has made no suggestion as to what the problem is and if they agree that it may be their leather.

Additionally, if it is their leather, they have not expressed any terms of financial recourse.

The new leather that JE would like will take 2 weeks to manufacture.  The piping color is “in stock” in a different leather type, but one that Edelman believes would work well as it is only the trim.

I want to make sure that we are very clear as to everyone’s position at this point as you have requested for us to remove the seats without identifying who will be financially responsible in compensating IJI to perform any work as desired by JE.

I will work on special pricing to show my contribution in trying to resolve JE’s dissatisfaction.

I look forward to speaking with you tomorrow morning at 9:00.  Hopefully by then Jay and Glenn will have had time to see if they have any weight and balance information on the GIIb to see if we removed the cabin single and double chairs, would the aircraft still fall within the envelope.

We are making a very sincere effort to keep JE happy.

Sincerely,

Eric H. Roth

Hello Eric,

I hope you had satisfactory conversation with Edleman leather.

I am confirming that JEE does not want the current leather installed in G2.

This is the leather he would like installed:

Chair fully covered in: Cashmere Calf, Marble CC23

Piping just like current seat to be in: Free Range Pampas FR22.

Both from Edelman leather samples, he still is patient and feels this is between you and Edelman.

The Gulfstream is located at Newark , Signature and will be there for your crew to remove the seats any time between now and Friday, May 11th. Our paint slot is Monday May 14 start date.

Please let me know when you can remove the seats and I will get aircraft to the paint shop by Friday night.

We just returned from Paris , and will depart Wed night at 630pm to St. Thomas in Boeing.

let me know your thoughts?

leather lead time? etc.  I believe Larry Morrison said G2 will be in paint for 4 to 5 weeks.

Also, can your QC provide a 337 or adjusted weight and balance for our flight to Canada with the seats removed, please have Jay or QC dept coordinate with Larry Morrsion for proper paper work.

thanks,

Larry Visoski
