you were hired to do the main house. you told me you were an architect , you had designed houses in russia , canada , and mexico. you said you had also done the landscape. I have been asking for things, and the record is extremely clear and problematic I am happy to review this with you. you first architected an office and the plans had to be thorown away as you yourself said that no one from your office had checked on site.. you hired two firms after my clear and unequivical requirement that anyone who designs , must do so with many visit s to the island.. , you produced a spa plan , that had a bath tub hanging from the ceiling, , you yourself , were unable to describe the plans , you had not
seen them yourself, before the p[lane ride yousaid.. it has been 2 and a half years.. . I have never stated that your office was a registered architects office as your e-mail misrepresents.. . I suggest very strongly that you now come to terms with your comittments , you have been paid a great amount of money. you owe me a main house full set of plans, before you get one more dollar. you had promised over and over again to get me library plans , for the four rooms. you promised spa plans with details, you promised nursery and landscape plans, you promised a master plan. you promised plans that accurately reflected the as- built conditions. . you'll recall that in late september you promised plans that you would gurantee would work,, you prsented them on nov 26, with innacurate topos, inaccurate roads, a dining room that was 150 feet from the kitchen, , you told me that renedereing and eleveations of your ideas would be forthcoming.. to now
say, but I haven't been paid, is disturbing at the least. J. P. - I have been very patient, very-- your new characterization of your role is frighteneing,, you have consistantly maintained that speterate and apart from the mere technicality of the drawings being "stamped" by a local architect, you were responsible for site plan, master plan, house architecture and design , interior design , and landscape plan, with lighting. this is all very well documented, .. I have not received a main house plan, from your office seperate from a block diagram , I would like to remain amicable. you MUST live up to your obligations and promises.

Subject: dates
Jeffrey,
I know that you want to know about dates for new projects, but I would like to point out other things first.
It seems there is a lot of concern about the Library, I have been constantly asked by Rich Khan ,via Darren, I suppose, on the accounting of the millwork. I have explained the process to no understanding, it seems. He comes back with the concept that only one corp of the ensemble has been built, as if this just happens out of the blue. I would like to propose you to let me finish the office cabinetry the way that I think it should be, as far as I have been contracted, (remember that there are major issues that implement the project that have not been addressed), and then you decide what do you want to do with the Library, if you want to continue and you feel trustful or you want to cancel it, and or I am still enthusiastic about the project to continue. At that point I can do a full accounting of your monies paid, and rest assured that I will defend your interests as if they were mine. Remember that I have a reputation and I have no intention in tarnish it.
I have to be tactful and rather diplomatic at this point asking those queries to the vendor (like how much he pays his draftsmen, or what is the cost of the timber) without risking the possibility that he decides to just stop everything.
Regarding the images I sent for the Library building, there are for giving the idea of style of building, if I am so wrong and the buildings have the wrong proportions, I am really lost, these are worldwide recognized as beautiful examples of classical buildings.
On the main house, the mention (more than once) that my office is not a "registered architects office" I have never stated so, I employ architects from the U.S.A, Brazil, Italy, in France they are from Monument Historiques, etc, and our office WILL NEVER REGISTER ANY ARCHITECT IN ANY STATE, I do not need that, we provide the design and for stamping the drawings and getting the permits should be dwelt with the locals. Did you ever had any questions about this?
The capacity of our design is so proven by our reputation, you can interrogate a good bunch of the Forbes list who consider that Cherlieu, in Canada is a masterpiece. I have been contracted by them again for a fourth project.,
On the continuation of the Main House new program, I have to remind you that we have not received fees since September, almost 7 months, and I suppose Jeffrey, that as a genial business man you are, you understand that we cannot continue having part of my office dedicated to you if this is already harming the finances of the Studio. JP.
