Hello Darren,
Denise had the opportunity to walk through the Maffolie house today and discovered that many portions of the structure haven't been completed. From her description of what she saw, and all of the work that hasn't been finished, I don't believe this is a property worth pursuing.
In other news, the property located at 45A Bolongo Bay, Is back on the market. Apparently, the other parties financing fell through and it doesn't appear that the prospective buyers will be able work things out.
This is the property that was originally listed at 699,000.00, then re-listed at 659,000.00. We had gone back and forth several times, and their final counter offer was 629,000.00. Our last offer was 610,000.00 and was declined due to the other parties higher offer.
As you know, most of the properties listed here fall into the 800,000.00 to 1 Million dollar asking price range which I feel is unreasonable. I've been looking for a home for the past year and a half, and from my perspective, a home listed in the mid-600,000.00 is difficult to find unless it's a "handymans special" which this is not. I've been told the home already passed the other prospective buyers home inspection which is another good indication that there won't be any surprises down the road if this were to materialize.
The three homes that were up for sale in Bolongo have all been contracted within the last month, and now, this is the only property available. I know that due to the location and asking price, there will be numerous showings in the very near future.
If we can, I'd like to move on this before things get crazy again.
