We spent about an hour. It was quite cordial . Bottom line is they are interested in talking about the fund and ABS losses but said that with all the litigation and class actions swirling around about the common stock he thought it unlikely they would discuss anything on that, although he did say that any settlement on the other losses could involve preservation of claims re the stock. He is going to get back to me next week on their position on scope of further discussions. He said that he expected they would want to sit down and see if we could get something done. I did not put any numbers on the table. Nor did he. We talked about the nature of the claims and the amounts that were invested .

We have a draft complaint with which I am not yet happy. If it is not a problem, I would like to have the weekend so that we can smooth it out and provide a more finished product Monday . Please let me know if that is going to be a problem.

David Anders and I are now trading messages. As soon as I hear from him I will let you know.
