On a much more serious note.... As a slight blood relative- and off the record,
I've seen the NY Post stories on Mr. Epstein. A few words about these cases from someone who knows (myself) firsthand about them. A very long time friend of mine recently started serving Nine years in a Federal Penitentiary for Sex Trafficking & Forced Labor. He was up for two Life Sentences. It was a case originating from the Attorney General Gonzales' office to set an example. The Feds offered him a deal. "No Jail Time" if you plead (all they were concerned with is another victory notch on their gavels). He said he was innocent of the charges (he is). My pal did not take the deal. A looming factor was the possibility of being deemed a "Sex Offender" when he plead.
He went to trial, had a very respected "white-collar crime" attorney (Maurice Sercarz), but the Feds do not play by Marquis of Queensberry rules- When they really want a conviction. The jury found him guilty (even though all the reporters there thought he'd walk), and in the end he's now been ruled as a "sex offender" ex post facto even though the psychiatric reports say he's not ( the NY Civil Liberties Union is looking into that). I now have Larry Flynt & Claus Von Bulow's attorney, Herald Price Fahringer doing the appeal but it's an uphill battle because again, the Feds got all the money , all the time and he's now a convict- stripped of almost any rights. Mr. Fahringer was up at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals last week and one of the judges was questioning why it ever became a Federal case? As he noted to me, the Feds cobbled this case together and "made" it a "Federal' case. When they make it a Federal case, watch out.
So in the end, while the jury was deliberating for seven days, the Federal Judge offered him another deal with the caveat, "if you don't take it and you lose, I'll have no problem sentencing you to serious time." And that's exactly what they did.
The odds are tough. Of course even if they're 100 to 1 there's still the 1.... but just know from someone who's seen it before, they play very hard.

Hi there, how exciting about the the pics..thank you in advance. Did I e mail you since I spoke to my Mum ....you were right about some nefarious activites..Mum says though she didn't think it was a house of ill repute though :) She didn't volunteer what it was either for the record :) I am gone until 2nd week Sept. but will definitely get in touch when I do. don't have the original postcards I have nice color copies. Scanning

As to Mr. Constantine Brancusi, did you know that he worked in a
grocer's shop in your father's town in 1888? In a bio it notes that
he left Romania and worked there for a spell. Who knows, Brancusi
might have been employed by a Slomovic.
Just to keep you up to speed with your London relations, I suppose
you know that my mother's niece, Sandra Davis of Mishcon De Reya,
was Princess Diana's divorce lawyer with Anthony Julius. She is
probably the most noted divorce lawyer in the UK, doing Jerry Hall's
break-up with Jagger, working on the recent Mills/McCartney divorce
and doing lots of Hollywood pre-nuptials.
I'm off to Seattle tonight so if you around in the next few, maybe we
