I spoke with John Standish this morning by phone. Andy Smith is no longer involved in anyway with the Office project wether it be financial or physically. I have a meeting with John Standish on St. John tomorrow at 10:30 to talk in person about moving forward or not.

Doug Newman can do the office on a cost plus GMP basis. I am finding out how soon he could mobilize. Just today he gave us an impressive estimate summary and schedule for the purposes of putting together the proposed engagement for the RO/Mech. Building.

 

As per instructions from JE I have not spoken to Andy or John Standish. My last contact with him clearly indicated that he and John would just as soon terminate the contract with us without any fight or argument. Dan can form his own judgments of course, but he has worked with Newman and he knows quality. I think that we can better ourselves and pay little if any more for the work than Standish was charging.
