FW: To Lesley re: Nov 2-5

As 10/31 I will enter a "think-tank" in Cold Spring Harbor (7 neuroscientists and 7 humanists living together for 3 days to tackle the question of Music, the Arts, and Neuroscience  (Maybe something magical will happen!)

I'd love to drop by and tell Jeffrey about what Changeux, McCleland, I and the group came up with, plus bring him up to date on Institute activities - what we did last year, what we aim to do next.

Also - I sent an email last week w/ info about a tech grant to develop a patent for a "Soundcubator" for the little premies in the Neonatal ICUs all over the world who hear little except alarms, beepers, and themselves crying - but never again mom's voice or other natural sounds once their removed form the womb out of medical necessity.  is it surprising so many end up w/' speech and language impairments throughout their lifetime? That's one of the business-related items I'd like to discuss w/ JE. 

Perhaps breakfast or lunch on Mon 11/5? I'll also be in town Friday evening and all day Saturday & Sunday.
