I did cal Jet Aviation, TAG and EJM about the block charter purchase. All of them seemed concerned about singing an agreement for only 25 hours of charter.
I also call Mark Ringel of Crowell Morning PLC as they represent many Marquis Card Clients as well as block charter clients. Mark felt as if you might get a better deal just buying charter in the open market when needed. He felt that the Card programs although convenient have become much more expensive over time. He also mentioned the card programs have become very restrictive in that they often require 48-72 hours notice for a guarantee now. He felt that better deals can be had calling for charters as needed this was especially true out of New York and major metropolitan areas.
I also briefed Larry V on this and he seemed to agree, I hope this helps.
