I am writing to follow up to our meeting with LAnna on
June 14.. I believe , that when you had stated that
you thought a felony for my client was needed,it
seems you were unfortunately working from the wrong
set of assumptions.. I'm sure you will agree that it
quickly became obvious at the meeting that the
allegations as read to us, differed dramatically from
your initial understanding. You now are fully aware of
the lack of credibility of the girl in question ,
coupled with the fact that you I realized you were
surprised to learn for the first time that there was
not even the slightest hint of an allegation of
either oral or vaginal sex.I realize this was in
contrast to your prior understanding , and this
,,coupled with the fact that I am told that in the
past you have been crystal clear with Alan Dershowitz
that if my client "didn't get laid or get a blow job"
you wouldn't charge.. I am cognizant of the fact that
, at our meeting, you clearly promised that if the
police didn't modify their probable cause affadavit
you would not charge,, However, I can see no good
faith basis for a charge,in any case, seperate fromthe
apparent desire to appease "law enforcement." . They
did their job, they I'm sure initially believed the
facts to be different than they ultimately turned out
to be. It is also clear that the statements of the
girls might have been taken without the clearly
necessary skepticism. The facts of the case as you and
I now both understand it are as follows : the girl ,
was brought to the house, by a stripper,one time, , my
client had never met her before,, she was told to
lie about her age, which she did,, and my client's lie
detector test , administered by George Slattery
,confirmed this . According to the statement that
Lanna read to you and I , the girl alleged that she
did not get fully undressed,, she CLIMBED on top of
him, to give him a MASSAGE.. she alleges he
masturbated, she then got paid her agreed two hundred
dollars, she left her phone number and said she would
like to come again with her twin sister, my client
never contacted her again... someseveral MONTHS
LATER ,we are told one of her parents,, BOTH
previously convicted of fraud, made contact with the
police..( the complaining stepmother, just completing
her own PTI in March of this year.) THe girl
represents her age on her own web page as 17,then
changes it to 16,, then very conveniently , four
days before the last scheduled grand jury changes it
for a third time to 15. On this site accompanied with
a nude photo,, she brags about shoplifting, drinking,
doing drugs and writes that she will have an income
of $250,000.( NO one has any doubt how she intended
to get that money) We have previously provided to
your office,, the copies of all the web sites showing
her examples of misrepresentation of age. We have
also provided a copy of her most recent rendition of
her web site, appropiately headlined" FUCK YA 2" ,
accompanied by a photo of her "straddling a man" in
which she once again brags that she has shoplifted
in the last month.. This is of course seperate and
apart from the police report we have previously
provided ,from the West Palm Beach Police ,
describing the officers description of her inability
to stand due to drugs , returning home at 5;45 a.m.
with the local drug dealer and her fathers'( a
convicted felon ) statement that she has been using
drugs since the age of 14, when she was admitted into
a rehab facility. We have also provided, a copy of a
Georgia police report, detailing her lying, to her
parents,running away from home and eventually being
found in a disreputable drug environment.With all
this and given the totality of the facts I can see
no good faith basis for bringing a charge in this
case... THe policy of your office not to bring a
"touching " case,( illustrated by your story to Alan
of a 15 year old stripper being fondled) where there
is no aggravating circumstances is well founded... My
client was clearly in no position of authority with
respect to this girl, and she came both voluntarily
and only once. even though Lanna stated she knows the
weakness of her case, as these "prostitutes" were
compliant and complicit, and could live with a couple
of misdemeanors,, I think we all realize that this is
not a case that should realistically be brought at
all especially to trial and therefore , really should
be dropped.. If you thought appropriate my client
would agree to stay our of palm beach ,, except for a
medical emergency, for a defined period of time..
