Importing references from the web shouldn't be hard - and now it isn't. Our new collaborative writing platform, F1000Workspace, has a nifty browser extension that allows you to instantly capture articles as you're surfing the web, with just a click of a button. You can even make notes on the article itself.

Try it out for yourself, and read more on about our one-click browser extension on our blog.

Recent advances in understanding and managing cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) dysfunction
Cystic fibrosis is an autosomal recessive disease caused by mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene. The recent licensing of the first drug targeting the molecular defect in the CFTR protein found in ~5% of cystic fibrosis patients may herald a new era with tailored therapies for cystic fibrosis with other CFTR mutations.
