You will also need a "knee" wall to support the 42" high countertop. That knee wall could be covered in paneling the same as the cabinets, of course. So basically, if the counter is white corian, the cabinet is cherry raisin, and if the counter is the wide plank walnut, then the cabinet would be white...the island that is 2 heights would be cherry raisin cabinets with the lower counter top white corian and the upper counter top wide plank walnut..
