Last year he took over as the CIO at the Wyoming Retirement Fund. The fund has roughly $8.5 billion in capital. Most of the capital is with large well known HF like Bridgewater, Discovery, AQR, Pershing Square ect ect. I did not really discuss much about business but he did ask if I knew any emerging markets long short funds. I put him in touch with Patrick Andersen of East Rock. in the last email with Sam he said this: "I want to have a broader conversation about trading with you when you have some time too. Maybe in a couple weeks if you are free." I do not know if they allocate directly but happy to take there where ever it goes.
