To: jeevacation@g mail .com[jeev aca tion@g mail.com]: jeevacation mail.com 'eevacation@gmail.com] From: Sent: Fri 12/16/2011 4:53:57 PM Subject: Bell 430 update Jeffery, I have consulted with following: -David Burch Manager at Edwards & Assoc, Bell in Fort Lauderdale -Paul Schrader -Chuck Hallet our Broker on our behalf -Mick the Seller of Bell 430 -Darren Rothell Here are the facts and updates; -Seller is willing to have the B430 in running condition for demo flight on January 11th. seller will send Mechanics to Perth AU on Jan 9th to install blades and complete a 150 hour inspection to get flight ready, provided we have approved L.O.I. in place. Mechanics live approx 1.5hours outside of Perth. -its confirmed the B430 has only flown two hours in the past two years. -Seller has stated the helicopter has been routinely complied with engine runs, but I have not seen documentation of this sort. I am still awaiting these documents. -Edwards is available to send their Chief quality inspector to Perth to examine the 8430 on January 9th. cost is $880.00 per day plus travel and expenses. -David Burch at Edwards is concerned about corrosion and gear box due to heli not being operated at normal intervals, also concem on Main Rotor head dampers leaking, if leaking cost estimated $55,000.00. The auto pilot servos are Due overhaul August 2012, $75,000.00 -Air shipping quote $107,000.00 additional cost will be packing, freight transportation to Sydey etc. $50,000 budget,. I have been in contact with David Bernstein who is able better cost for shipping to Miami, whether Air or boat transport,. -Darren Rothell is willing and able to demo the B430.
