Yfke Sturm, 33, was riding a "Jet Surf' on the southern coast of the island when she fell into the water, hitting her head. She was taken to the Rizzoli hospital on Ischia, and then transferred by helicopter to a specialist clinic in Naples. Doctors said she suffered a fractured skull and a number of fractured vertebrae.
