In early June I assumed the position of Senior Director of Development. Performing Arts at The New School. In this new role I have the distinct pleasure of designing and implementing all fundraising initiatives and activities relating to our three Performing Arts divisions: Mannes College The New School for Music, The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, and The New School for Drama. As Senior Director I will create programs and infrastructure to engage alumni, parents, and friends in meaningful and enduring New School relationships, and I will deliver the tactical and strategic philanthropic resources necessary for Performing Arts to meet its academic. capital, programmatic, and scholarship goals. Over the next several months I will reach out to you for guidance and participation as we endeavor to geographically unify our three Performing Arts divisions. In September, we will embark on the first phase of a fundraising campaign to support the renovation of 55 West 13th Street, which will welcome Mantles, Jazz, and Drama into its classrooms and corridors in the fall of 2015.
