Enhanced Education 6100 Red Hook Quarter, Suite B-3 St. Thomas, USVI 00802 November 24, 2015 Barnaby Marsh, D.Phil. Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives And Managing Director, Philanthropic Leadership Network John Templeton Foundation 300 Conshohocken State Road Suite 500 West Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA Dear Barnaby: Martin Nowak has been telling me about his proposed new research applications of evolutionary game theory to the behavioral sciences. As you know from our prior discussions, Enhanced Education is very interested in supporting Martin's work. I understand that the John Templeton Foundation is currently considering a project proposal, in which Enhanced Education would have the opportunity to partner with the John Templeton Foundation by providing additional funding of $1,500,328 [$1,304,633 direct costs + $195,695 indirect costs] specifically from Harvard University fund 347150 that has been budgeted for this project. In 2003 Enhanced Education established a gift to the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics to support precisely this type of cutting edge research. Please know that the University has already secured the stated amount and that Martin's administrative team intends to apply said funds to this project for the proposed 3 year period [January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2018]. Enhanced Education is very enthusiastic about the potential of collaborating with the John Templeton Foundation as we have a shared mission to promote important and timely research.
