Documentation showing that a student receives full room (housing) has a cash value of $16,344.00 for 12 months. These students or their sponsor must show an additional $7,308.00 in funds to cover Board, Transportation, and Personal expenses. Estimated expenses for your program should be calculated at an increase of approximately 4-6% for each succeeding year. Students bringing dependents (spouse or children 21 years old or younger) in F-2 or J-2 status must each year show an added $5,000.00 to support the first dependent, and $4,000.00 for each additional dependent.
