Over the past ten years, I have been making paintings incorporating found surfaces I come across while walking to and from my studio. These anonymous surfaces become the impetus for new images as they are arranged in my studio. My painting practice centers on how I make visible what I see in these surfaces through the application of paint on, around and over these objects. I have attached a selection of images from the current exhibition that are indicative of my work. I would certainly love to have you by my studio when you are back in New York.
