Most were released after pouring some $100bn of their assets into the Saudi royal treasury. The anti-corruption bureau set up by the prince reported 381 arrests of Saudi citizens, 87 of which confessed to the charges brought against them and paid the fines imposed by the Saudi prosecution. The eight who refused to pay fines will go on trial. The prosecution refused to deal with another 56 of the accused. Their properties were impounded and they will be tried.
