Regarding the Beast, Sultan has asked me to do two things: 1. Commission a pre-buy survey with an emphasis on corrosion. This survey is not to determine market value but by means of a third party inspection it's purpose is to validate existing condition of the aircraft. Your recommendation for an outfit that can complete the survey would be highly appreciated; I know just enough about the SSI documents to know I don't know anything. This survey has to go beyond looking up the AD compliance and needs to involve a physical inspection of the aircraft and testing where applicable. Sultan needs to be able to show his colleagues that the aircraft is safe and fit for use 2. Solicit proposals for updating the interior of the aircraft specifically the floor carpeting and surfaces and all main cabin seating. I have broken down the seating list into a spreadsheet to start building up a foundation for a specification list and we have an interior designer who can make the decisions on the color palatte. We are not trying to go crazy here; we will just look at off the shelf carpeting and fire blocked upholstery that together may give the look Sultan desires. Do you have any kind of as-built floor plan for the Beast? I am working off of hand drawings but they look a little juvenile. Thank you again for showing us around at Stambaugh.
