All what is needed is some input which implant to implant. I will call anyone whom you think might help. A surgery will be performed at UW — I double checked today. A surgeon, a day and the rest is already selected. We are just seeking a second opinion re the type of the implant. A question is much simpler — he needs to decide which of three devices he wants 3 choices are: 1. Maestro cochlear implant system by Med El (medical electronics) 2. Nucleus System by Cochlear 3. Advanced Bionics It seems that his surgeon has some relationship with one of the company/device so we are just trying to be better informed.
